why facsimile glade? (why that name?)
¬
facsimile is actually what I've named my own dc canon
the use of facsimile as a title is in reference to the original latin "fac simile"-- "to make alike"
my point isn't to make an exact copy, but to make something that's if your fax machine is older than you and running out of ink
i also have weirdly distinct memories of learning about old reproductions made after the printing press, so that's also part of it.
as for glade? the reality is that facsimile was already taken, so i needed something to differentiate it. glades are a part of my dnd project and I really do just love a glade! what a wonderful little place to be! of course I'd love to compare my webspace to a glade
